  一.教材分析

  1. 本单元所处的地位

  Unit1是本模块的第一课时听说课,根据《新标准》英语教材的安排,每模块的第一单元为听说课训练,以培养学生的听 说能力为主,兼顾读写,并包括词汇,语法,语音学习活动。了解信息,丰富知识,获得乐趣,培养和发展听说技能。

  本单元的主要教学内容以谈论中外伟人和他们的著作为话题,要求学生听懂,读懂有关评价名著的对话,同时正确掌握被动语态的基本结构以及一般现在时态的被动语态

  2.教学目标

  (1)语言知识目标:

  a.能正确使用下列单词以及词组:work ,influence ,respect ,wise ,literature ,monthly ,as far as ,not ...any more ,millions of ,be known as/for等。

  b.句型Shakespear’s works are seen by millions of people every year.

  Mark Twin was an important writer ,but he isn’t known as a great thinker like Confucius.

  Confucius` works are read by people today,and w e`re still influenced by his thoughts.

  c.语法:一般现在时的被动语态。

  (2) 语言技能目标;

  听:通过听进行单词和图片的配对。

  说:谈论最喜爱的书、戏剧、 作家、思想家。

  (3)情感目标:

  培养学生阅读的习惯,提高知识文化修养。

  (4)文化意识目标:

  了解中文著名的作家、思想家、诗人及他们的作品。

  二. 学情分析

  初三学生已经掌握了一定的词汇和语法,具有一定的听说能力,理解能力和表达能力,他们对于英语教学中的各种活动形式已比较适应,习惯参加课堂活动,但在课堂活动中可能出现消极依赖的情绪。因此,师生、生生之间的交流合作需要进一步加强。再者,谈论书、作家、思想家等是学生感兴趣的话题。本模块的学习正是通过该话题的讨论,学习并掌握一般现在时被动语态的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句和特殊疑问句。

  三. 设计理念

  初中英语课堂教学要倡导学生主动参与、乐与探究、勤于动手,培养学生搜集和处理信息的能力、获取新知识的能力、分析和解决问题的能力以及交流和合作的能力。在课堂教学中,以培养学生的创新精神和实践能力为重点; 以提高学生的整体素质、着重培养学生的语言运用能力为目的,不仅让学生掌握语言知识,更重要的是教学生学习英语的方法,使之形成有效的学习策略,获得自主学习的能力,使他们的听说技能得到和谐、均衡地发展,最终形成能力,学会学习。

  四 . 教学策略:合作学习的策略。

  师生合作:老师引导学生,学生跟随老师去听,说;并总结知识结构。

  生生合作:学生自由组队,自主讨论,分工合作。

  五 .教学过程:

  Step1 Lead-in

  1.Ask the students some questions.

  Do you like readin g books? What’ your favourite book? Who’s your favourite writer

  Step2.Warming-up(Activities1,2&5)

  1.Show three pictures about Confucius,Shakespeare and Mark Twain . Let them guess who they are.Prepare to complete activity1.

  2.Teach the words :work ,influence ,play ,poem ,respect , thinker ,thought ,wise ,writer. Then the students finish activity 7 and check the answer,read the sentences .

  3.Play the radio the first time.Then the students match the words in the box with the pictures. Play the tape again,and check the answer.

  The teacher write the following words on the blackboard while the students listenin g the tape the second time.

  He was a great thinker in China .He is known for his wise thoughts We are still influenced by his thought. He is respected by us.

  He was a writer of plays and poems . Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet are his famous plays. His plays are seen by millions of people every year .

  He was a famous American writer. He wrote a lot of stories. His books are still very popular. For example, The Adventures of Tom Sawer.

  Step3 Listen and read(Activities3,4&7)[

  1、T:What are Mr Jackson and Betty mainly talking about? Now listen

  2、 Play the tape ,when there is new word ,stop and teach it. Then finish activity 4. After listening ,give a little time to the students to ask some expressions that they don`t know .

  Write down these important expressions :What`s up?=what`s the matter ?=what`s the trouble?=what`s happening?;I`v got it right . Go on. As far as I know. be known as.it`s a pity.And read them.

  3. Next write down the expressions:Confucius` wor ks are read by people today,and we`re still influenced by his thoughts.And Shakepeare`s plays are seen by millions of people every year.

  Now play the tape (it`s the contents in activity 7)The students follow the pronunciation and read times

  The students make a conclusion of the black words. Teacher gives them help,tell the students they are present simple passive .

  Step4.Speaking(Activities 6,8&9)

  1.Make a list of:two great plays, two poems, two wise tinkers, two important writers and two great stories.

  2. Then work in pairs and talk about the favourite from the list.

  3.Work in groups of three and talk about the opinions in activity 8.

  4.The teacher gives more examples to help the students understand the drills:most of us; more than; learn from/learn...from

  5.Then a student of the group report ideas to the whole class.

  Step 5 Homework

  Look up some more writers and thinkers, and collect their works, plays, poems and their thoughts. Then talk about the imformation

  each other at school the next day.

  六.教学效果

  达到效果:在听说学习的过程中,有效的习得语言,总结知识结构,并能恰当地运用知识,表达语言。

  七.教学小结

  听说课主要分两部分。Listeni ng 这一部分主要是听力活动,学生在听时关注相关信息,进行必要的词汇准备,了解背景和一些相关的语句,为听懂下一听读材料作铺垫。
